Your mounted files remain accessible but you revert to the free tier limit of 1 mount. No data is deleted. You can export connection profiles at any time.
Does the Lifetime licence cover future major versions?
Lifetime includes 1 year of new features and major versions from purchase date. After that year you stop getting new features and major versions (e.g. KastDrive 2.0, offered at a discounted upgrade price), but you keep getting macOS compatibility, Tailscale compatibility and security fixes free, forever.
Can I use KastDrive on multiple Macs?
Yes — one Pro licence covers up to 2 personal Macs for the same user. KastDrive has no team plan: to share a NAS with other people, share the machine through Tailscale and give each person their own licence.
